The Position
A computer distribution company with affiliates in Europe and the Gulf is set to open in Kenya and would like to recruit a Business Development Manager.
The
company is involved in distribution of computer hardware, software and
accessories.
Role and responsibilities
- The
Business Development Manager will be in charge of their
- Kenyan
operations, reporting to the group CEO, and will be specifically
responsible for:
- Leading
the local Team and accountable for the overall company performance
- Exploiting
existing business opportunities and developing new trade channels
- Optimize
the company’s profitability through innovative marketing strategies
- Grow
the company’s product portfolio by identifying new market opportunities
- Develop
new revenue streams from new products and services
The
candidate
- The
ideal candidate should have at least 4 years experience in sales and
marketing.
- A
thorough understanding of Computer distribution business in the Kenyan
market is critical.
- The
candidate should have a university degree in business, economics,
marketing or IT.
